WHAT HAPPENED?
Doku has not featured for City in their last two matches against Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea after picking up an injury during the club's 6-0 demolition of Ipswich Town. Manager Guardiola has now revealed that the Belgian is facing a lengthy spell out and will miss the must-win Champions League clash against Club Brugge and is doubtful for City's crucial Premier League clash against Arsenal at the weekend.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
While Doku's injury comes as a big blow for the English champions, star defender John Stones' return to action after more than a month was a huge boost for the club. The England international came on as a second-half substitute replacing debutant Abdukodir Khusanov against the Blues.

WHAT NEXT FOR MANCHESTER CITY?
In Doku's absence, another newcomer Omar Marmoush is likely to take his place on the left side of the attack against Brugge. Along with Khusanov, the Egyptian too made his debut for the Cityzens last Saturday.
